PryMarke, LLC To Publish Book With IGI Global of Pennsylvania
"Cultural Variations and Business Performance: Contemporary Globalism" to be available in 2011.

LINDEN, MI, April 25, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- PryMarke's top executive, Dr. Bryan Christiansen, has announced his company will soon complete a book on business performance in contemporary globalism to be published by IGI Global of Pennsylvania.

The primary objective of the publication is that of a Reference book for business executives, scholars, and university students who need to better understand the importance of transcultural decision-making on business performance in contemporary globalism.

"In today's reality of hypercompetition, firms are increasingly less able to sustain a strategic advantage over a long period of time as in the past. Therefore, this book will be of huge interest to business executives as well as to scholars," said Christiansen.

Some sample Chapter titles include:

"Realities of Contemporary Globalism"
"Theory of Cultural Dimensions"
"Internationalization of Business in Emerging Economies"
"Globalism, Culture, and Business Environment: A Middle Eastern Perspective"
"Intercultural Competence as Knowing-in-Practice"
"Knowledge Management and Organizational Learning in a Global Context"
"Human Resource Management for the New Global Economy"
"Foreign Business Environments and Entry Mode Choice"
"Cross-Border Inter-firm Networks in the Wider Europe"
"Regionalization vs. Globalization"

"It is no surprise the speed of business has increased dramatically over the past decade due mainly to technology. Therefore, business and product life cycles have been drastically altered. As a result, corporate capital and liquidity buffers must be increased for unexpected developments in global markets," said Christiansen, a business professor since 2003 at several US regionally-accredited institutions.

"Corporations must also pay particular attention to the older Knowledge Worker, especially in the advanced economies, for sustainable, competitive advantage. Human Resource Management as well as Decision-making Processes and Technology will be the three cornerstones for successful organizations in the 21st Century," continued Christiansen, who also stresses the need for a redefinition of corporate performance to reflect the realities of this century.

"The rules of the game have changed dramatically for companies, governments, and individuals alike, and all of us must understand how these changes will affect our futures," added Christiansen.

Due to the very diverse and important nature of the publication's topic, the book currently has a total of 22 Contributors from 16 countries who represent a wide range of universities such as:

Deakin University (Australia), EDHEC Business School (France), HEC Montreal (Canada), McGill University (Canada), Sophia University (Japan), St. George's University (Grenada), Technologico de Monterrey (Mexico), Universidade de Sao Paulo (Brazil), University Eichstatt-Ingolstadt (Germany), University of Bedfordshire (UK), University of Gdansk (Poland), University of Maine (USA), and Warwick Business School (UK).

PryMarke is currently involved in several business projects in Bulgaria, Central America, and Turkey. The company has Regional Offices in Istanbul, Turkey and San Jose, Costa Rica. Other offices are planned in Bulgaria, Russia, and the Ukraine in 2011.
