Levi Martinez Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who Executive, Professional and Entrepreneurial Registry
An accomplished author and writer, Mr. Martinez decided to launch a new career at 85 years of age to help fledgling authors publish their work through Amadeo Publishing Company, Inc.

DENVER, CO, October 9, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Levi Martinez, President of Amadeo Publishing Co, Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of publishing.

An accomplished author and writer, Mr. Martinez decided to launch a new career at 85 years of age to help fledgling authors publish their work through Amadeo Publishing Company, Inc. Mr. Martinez, the author of Seven Graces To Help God Save The World One Thought At A Time is currently writing his as-yet-untitled autobiography as well as two other books entitled The Sovereignty Of The Individual, which deals with political and social issues facing the United States and the world, and Who is Jesus? Who is Jesus? answers the question and counters recent works which try to portray Jesus as an ordinary human being like the rest of us. Mr. Martinez is a member of the Colorado Press Association.

Mr. Martinez received his JD from the University of Colorado School of Law in 1951. While in law school he was on the Board of Editors of The Rocky Mountain Law Review, the law school's law journal. He authored an article dealing with the alien land laws of California, since abolished, and the United Nations Charter. That article was republished in the National Law Journal. He also authored an article advocating for women's rights to sue for loss of consortium, a right that was denied to women by some states at the time. He practiced law from 1951 to 1973, ran for the office of governor of Colorado in 1966, and is one of the founders of The Mexican-American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF), an organization still active in advancing the cause of equal rights for all citizens.

Since leaving the practice of law, Mr. Martinez has been involved in water right transfers from agricultural uses to municipal and industrial uses. His expertise in water rights issues in Colorado started when he represented his father-in-law and other water rights claimants in extensive water rights litigation when he was fresh out of law school in 1951. Since leaving the practice of law, he has also engaged in business consulting to small businesses (and as such has helped many small businesses succeed) and water rights and energy issues through his company, Water-Energy, Inc.
