Vendor space nears sellout for August bargain book show in Atlanta
More than 350 of the available 450 vendor spaces have already been sold for the Great American Bargain Book Show that will be held at the Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta on August 1-2.
/Books News Articles/ - ATLANTA, GA, May 16, 2008 - The Great American Bargain Book Show, scheduled for the Cobb Galleria Center in Atlanta on Friday-Saturday, August 1-2, is already close to a sellout. Vendors have already reserved more than 350 display spaces, according to show coordinator Cathie Eargle.
The Great American Bargain Book Show debuted at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta in 2007. It is already among the three largest remainder and bargain book shows in the nation.
"We are delighted with the response so far," said show organizer Larry May of Knoxville, Tenn. "Vendor space has only been open for selection for a few weeks. I think we'll top out at about 450 spaces. I think that is great for a second year show."
The host hotel for the event is the Renaissance.
"The show layout is up on our Web site, and we have only about 125 spaces left on our layout," said May. "Vendors interested in participating should call 865-922-7490 promptly."
